We are now looking for nursing assistants who want to contribute to safe and quality care in our operations. The staffing team is based at Ängsö care and service housing and works across four operations during short-term absences: Ängsö, Edö, Postiljonen and day activities for people with dementia. The operations focus on somatic care, dementia care, short-term care and day activities. The staffing team consists of approximately 12 nursing assistants, one staffing assistant and one manager. The team has an important task in ensuring continuity and security when regular staff are absent. With us you get varied and meaningful work with great variety in your daily tasks. Your role As a nursing assistant in the staffing team, you work in several care and service residences as well as in day activities based on the operations' needs. The role involves covering short-term absences and quickly familiarizing yourself with new workplaces and routines. To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible as you work in different operations and may need to change workplaces with short notice. You work full-time (37.5 hours/week) and the work is scheduled for day, evening and weekends. Because you are part of a staffing team, your schedule varies. Work hours: Day shift: 07.00–15.30/16.00 Evening shift: 13.00–21.00 Together with your colleagues, you contribute to making the residents' daily life safe, meaningful and dignified. With a professional and respectful approach, you ensure good care based on the individual's needs and conditions. You are an important part in creating a functioning daily life where quality, participation and security are central. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who is: a trained nursing assistant with protected professional title at least 3 years of experience working within elderly care basic computer skills and experience with documentation very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have: worked with medication delegation. We see that you are a stable person who contributes with security in your work and in meetings with others. You are service-oriented and have a professional manner where you focus on the individual's needs. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with colleagues in different teams and operations. Furthermore, you work with empathy and attentiveness in meeting each individual, and you are flexible in your daily work and adapt easily to changed conditions and needs.
