Description The Care Administration is seeking temporary nursing assistants for home care services. Job Duties Work in home care involves providing quality care and service to clients in their own homes within the framework of support decisions under the Social Services Act. You will also perform health and medical care tasks under delegation or instruction from nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. The position is currently in home care, but the employment is with Tanum Municipality, which means you may be transferred to another part of the organization if needs change. Qualifications Care and health program with specialized courses in "Care and Support in Dementia Disease" and "Elderly Health and Quality of Life," or education that the employer considers equivalent. Approved grades in Swedish 1 and civics at secondary level. We place great emphasis on your experience in care and health work, but also want you to have good collaboration skills and as a person be comfortable working in someone else's home. To handle the work satisfactorily, you must have good planning ability, be flexible and independent. A driver's license is required. Requirement to have a protected professional title as a nursing assistant or be covered by transitional provisions to be offered a position as a nursing assistant.
