At the operating unit in Trelleborg, we offer orthopedic surgery for adults and children, oral surgery, ear, nose and throat operations, and dental procedures. The department performs both same-day surgical procedures and inpatient operations. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant with us, you have a very important role in the team. You work, among other things, in the operating room where you assist both doctors and anesthesia nurses in their work. In addition, you prepare and retrieve relevant equipment and materials for the current anesthesia and are responsible for cleaning and preparing the room for the next operation. As a new employee, we offer you an introduction program adapted to your needs and you will have a mentor to follow. We develop an individual competency development plan together with you and offer continuous training days and other competency-enhancing training opportunities. Working hours are 40 hours per week, daytime only, and on-call duty is not included. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to the previous or current program structure. If you studied the previous program structure, we would like to see that it was with a focus on acute care/healthcare. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement. If you have previous experience working as a nursing assistant in an operating department, we consider that to be an asset.
