Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. The position also includes so-called resource tours, which means you may work at nearby units when needed. This creates flexibility, strengthens cooperation between facilities, and contributes to safe and sustainable staffing. Workplace Description Åsgården is a care and residential facility with a total of 57 places, divided among three group homes for people with dementia. There is also a short-term residence with 12 places. We are now seeking staff for Kullen, which is a group home for people with dementia. The various units of the facility work closely together, which creates good conditions for both safe and quality care and a supportive and positive work environment. Your Competence We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and wants to make a difference in people's daily lives through professional and engaged work. It is an advantage if you have experience in dementia care as well as knowledge of BPSD and person-centered approaches. Further education within the dementia field is also seen as an advantage. In this role, communication skills, patience, and the ability to create security for residents are of great importance. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You build trusting relationships and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and professional in your work. You adapt your approach based on situation and individual, and you meet people with respect, attentiveness, and consideration. You enjoy collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment through clear and smooth communication with colleagues, residents, and families. You are proactive, see opportunities for development, and are happy to contribute new ideas and perspectives to the organization. Documentation and reporting are an important part of the work. Therefore, you need to have basic computer skills as well as a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
