The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: care and services, support, and IFO (individual and family care). The care and services department includes units within elderly care facilities, home care, and municipal primary care. The support department includes LSS services. We are now recruiting nursing assistants for permanent positions in Home Care Services Munkedal and Centrum, to become part of our competent, responsible, and caring work team. Job Description Your work will involve daily care for our elderly, which you will perform with high quality according to their individual needs and circumstances that arise. The responsible work consists of significant participation and daily observations, in close cooperation with your colleagues to carry out services that contribute to the well-being of the elderly, such as medical care work delegated by a nurse. You will provide support to our elderly in hygiene care, walks, meal preparation, and companionship that will contribute to a meaningful daily life. Communication is also a large part of your work, where you must meet both the elderly and their relatives in a considerate, trustworthy, and respectful manner. We use mobile phones as our daily tool for registering visits with our service users. Work hours are mainly scheduled for evenings and weekends. Work may occur in other operations within the municipality as needed. Qualifications We are looking for you who: are at least 18 years old. are a licensed nursing assistant with a protected professional title. have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. have a category B driver's license. have experience in healthcare and care (meritorious). Work in home care requires great demands on independent work and the ability to handle situations that arise, sometimes stressful ones—something you feel confident in and handle calmly. You have good cooperation skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience, and are open to learning from others.
