About the Operation Hemgården is a special residential facility for the elderly in Skinnskattebergs Municipality. It houses the departments Granen and Furan as well as the short-term housing Viljan. In total, there are 24 apartments distributed across the departments Granen and Furan and 10 short-term places at Viljan. At Hemgården, we work in teams with several different professional groups such as nursing assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, administrators, and unit managers. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will document according to SoL and HSL and ensure that interventions are carried out in accordance with current decisions and procedures. You are responsible for and handle delegated work tasks from licensed personnel and actively work to ensure that the individual receives safe and dignified support based on their individual needs. As a nursing assistant, your role includes contact person responsibilities, which means you have a central role in creating security and continuity for the resident and their relatives. You provide support in both big and small matters, in care, socially and in meaningful activities. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and relatives, and you are an important part of the team around the resident. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with certification of protected professional title. You have a good command of the Swedish language both verbally and in writing to communicate with users and other staff and to be able to document in writing what the operation and work require. It is meritorious if you have experience working in elderly care. Personal Qualities You have the ability to focus on the user and are a communicative person who appreciates collaboration with others. You have a calm and empathetic approach, can take personal responsibility, and meet every individual with warmth and respect. Daily work can change quickly when situations don't turn out as expected, which requires great flexibility. Therefore, it is important that you can easily adapt to new situations and handle changes in a positive way. Working Hours/Duration The position is full-time and permanent. Start date by agreement. Interviews may begin before the application deadline. Before employment, an extract from the criminal records must be presented.
