The Health and Social Services Administration is seeking temporary nursing assistants for night shifts in home care and residential facilities in Hoting and Tåsjö. The employment is in the Hoting Tåsjödalen production area. In this area there is a residential facility in Hoting and one in Tåsjö, as well as a home care team. 3 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant, you will work supporting people in their daily lives based on support decisions and implementation plans. Your tasks are varied, but some of the most common work duties include the following. • Help with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry, changing bed sheets, shopping, and preparing meals. • Personal care involves help with showering and bathroom visits, getting dressed and doing hair, or assisting with meals. • Your role also includes enriching the daily life of those you help through various activities. This could be social companionship, taking a walk, or playing games. Only your imagination sets the limits. • Medical tasks such as checking blood pressure, applying bandages, or administering medications. This requires delegation and is something you will learn as you go. Through workplace orientation, you will be given the conditions to perform the work required by the role and follow the procedures in place at the facility and in the municipality as your employer. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and/or has experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities. You are responsible, have a clear approach, and can work independently. Collaboration with others is an important part of the work, so good teamwork skills are essential. You are confident and comfortable working with people who have a great need for security, continuity, and structure. You have computer skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish, as documentation regarding individuals' general condition and important events is part of the job duties.
