Your tasks As a nursing assistant in home care, you work to support people in their daily lives based on individual needs, resources, and goals. The work is based on the Social Services Act and IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), where the focus is on strengthening the service user's independence, participation, and security. You provide support in several life areas, including personal care, home environment, social interaction, and safety-creating services. The tasks may include help with personal hygiene, meals, mobility, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and accompaniment to activities or medical visits. The role also includes delegated healthcare tasks such as medication management, sampling, and observation of health status. You document in the service's journal system and work according to implementation plans in close collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professional groups. The work is varied and requires professional conduct, flexibility, and the ability to adapt support according to the service user's needs. We are looking for you who • are a trained nursing assistant through the care and nursing program or equivalent adult education • have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • are secure, responsible, and have good conduct • enjoy working independently while also being a team player • have experience in care and nursing as well as digital documentation, which is an advantage Work in home care involves a lot of independent work at service users' homes, which requires you to feel secure in your professional role.
