The Role of Nursing Assistant at Our Organization Work as a nursing assistant in home care involves a high degree of independence and personal responsibility, while you work closely with colleagues – always with the client's best interests in focus. You meet people with varying needs and work in their home environment, where you create security and continuity. The role includes practical tasks such as personal care, meal support, and motivating various activities. The work is varied and requires that you are comfortable with a flexible pace. You will drive a vehicle as part of your duties and will follow a schedule that will be set for every weekend. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care services following instruction and delegation from a nurse, as well as documentation done digitally. The employment rate is 71 or 85 percent with work hours scheduled only Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, plus time for workplace meetings (APT). Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title.
