Are you a service-oriented Mechanic who wants to help solve problems? Then you are the person we are looking for to join our shift-based mechanic group in the central maintenance department! The group consists of ten mechanics divided into five shift teams. Your Responsibilities As a shift mechanic, you and your colleagues on the unit have significant responsibility for performing maintenance on the company's machinery and equipment. The work includes both emergency repairs, preventive measures, and other planned maintenance work. Your daily work also involves contributing to the development and improvement of our work methods, processes, and our machinery and equipment. In this role, you are also responsible for responding to alarms from business-critical machines and ensuring that actions are taken in an efficient and safe manner. The work is conducted on a shift basis according to a 5-shift schedule. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, a problem solver, flexible, and who finds it stimulating to quickly switch between tasks when something unexpected comes up. The work requires good teamwork skills as you work with shift colleagues and in some cases closely with other departments in the operation. You are communicative, clear, and structured in your communication, and you see it as self-evident to ensure good handovers between shifts and to continuously provide status updates to customers and clients. You are technically interested and curious about how machinery and equipment work, and you have a desire to learn new things. Improving your own work methods is a natural part of the job. Trust and respect for yourself and others are important to you, and you believe it is important to meet the customer's/stakeholder's needs in a safe and high-quality manner. It is advantageous to have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, computer skills, and the ability to read drawings. A Class B driver's license is required, and forklift, lift, and traverse certifications are advantageous.
