Two Nursing Assistants for Weekend Shifts at Tunängens Care and Residential Facility

We are 2,500 employees who in various roles provide support and care to citizens who need it. We are now recruiting two nursing assistants for weekend shifts. One position is located at a short-term residential facility and comprises 21.30 percent with service every other even weekend. The other position is located at a dementia care unit and comprises 31.76 percent with service two every other even weekend and one odd weekend. This type of employment arrangement does not apply to night shifts. The Role and Your Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing good care and support where residents' needs guide the daily work tasks. The work is characterized by responsibility and person-centered care with a rehabilitative approach, so that residents can maintain and/or develop their abilities. Your work tasks include: Meeting residents' individual needs for care, support, and services. Implementing delegated and routine healthcare measures according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). Developing and following up on care plans in dialogue and collaboration with residents. Daily documentation in Lifecare according to the Social Services Act (SoL) as well as risk assessments related to both residents and the work environment. Providing residents with social and emotional support. Contributing to a good work environment and a climate that reflects our core values. Performing healthcare tasks based on delegation. You perform your work with great empathy, responsiveness, and understanding for each individual's wishes and needs, and ensure that services are provided in the best possible way. We work in teams, which means close collaboration between colleagues, administrators, assistant unit managers, unit managers, and healthcare personnel. Together we continuously work to develop the service and ensure high quality. Additionally, being close to the individual and their family is important. Working Hours and Schedule We work with coordinated planning, which means you have a base unit where you are scheduled most of the time, but rotation may also occur, meaning you will also work on other units. About You Requirements: You have completed education from a Care and Health Program or equivalent nursing assistant education from Komvux or a vocational college. You have at least six months of work experience in care and support, preferably in elderly care. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, and can adapt your communication to the recipient and situation. You have good experience in documenting according to the Social Services Act. You have good computer skills and experience working in digital service systems. Meritorious: You have education or experience in dementia care, social psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or care of multi-morbid patients. You have experience with the Lifecare service system. You have delegation for tracheostomy, PEG, and cough assist machines. We are looking for someone who enjoys flexible work, is stress-resilient, and wants to help develop the service. As a person you are independent, humble, thorough, and responsible. You are passionate about working with elderly people and have the ability to see each individual's needs and circumstances. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with individuals who have extensive care needs.
