Tullkvarnsvägen is a special residential facility with a focus on somatic care and has 50 places. The facility is beautifully situated in nature with the Indalsälven river nearby. In your role as a nursing assistant with us, you will provide care according to the residents' wishes and in accordance with current care decisions with a strong focus on quality. This is done, for example, by performing personal hygiene, helping with meal preparation and serving, responding to calls, and social interaction. Social interaction can include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar. You will also carry out delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training. As a summer substitute with us, you have good chances of getting new temporary positions or permanent employment. Job Description We are currently looking for 2 nursing assistants/care aides on a part-time basis for summer employment until week 33 with the possibility of extension, employment level approximately 80-90% with a start date by agreement. These 2 positions will be daytime with every other weekend. These are resource positions where you work across all departments in the facility and cover shifts where there is short-term absence. If there is no short-term absence on any given day, you will, for example, provide support in a department that is understaffed, accompany residents on any outings, or lead activities. To be suitable for the position, you need: Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you are a nursing assistant and can provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare We also consider it meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
