In total, we have approximately 145 students at the school. The school has an after-school care program. The school's student welfare has a central role in the school's work, both preventive and supportive, and is active in values-based work. Access to a school counselor and school nurse, special education teacher, and educational psychologist is available. We all work as a team and solve any challenges together. Our priority areas are the Swedish language, and we actively work to create a shared set of values. Job Responsibilities You will become an important part of a grades 4-6 teaching team. We work very closely in grades 4-6, all students are everyone's students! Everyone at the school actively works with safety and work environment for both educators and students. The teaching team works across class boundaries, which we have found has increased students' sense of security. You will deliver certain parts of the instruction, and your colleagues will deliver the other parts. We are skilled at supporting each other and usually have two adults in the classroom. The school has joint recess activities during the mornings where you are expected to contribute/supervise. Recess activities are organized/carried out through school collaboration. You are expected to help and support so that collaboration can take place! The position may change based on your qualifications and expertise. Qualifications - You are a certified teacher for grades 4-6 and work systematically to improve students' conditions for achieving maximum learning goals. - Merits include knowledge in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language or Math/Science specialization. - You are well familiar with Lgr22 and plan your instruction based on curriculum documents. - You have experience working in a school. - You are knowledgeable in the work with accommodations. - You are flexible regarding both content and working hours. All to best meet our students. - You are clear, organized, well-structured, responsive, and most importantly—a team player. - You are engaged in your mission and passionate about leading students in their development, both academically and socially. - You have a strong ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. - You enjoy leading and/or driving development initiatives, promoting new ideas and thoughts with your colleagues that move Töråsskolan forward. - You are solution-oriented and able to create a good atmosphere and positive work environment. - You see the benefits of collegial learning. - You see that cooperation and shared understanding promote student development.
