Temporary Staff for Functional Support Services

Within the social services department, the functional support service is responsible for providing support and services in accordance with LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). LSS is a rights-based law that should guarantee people with extensive and permanent functional disabilities good living conditions, help them receive the assistance they need in daily life, and enable them to influence what support and services they receive. 5 position(s). We are now seeking temporary staff who can work flexibly and with short notice within the functional support service. Job Responsibilities As temporary staff, you will work at one or more units within the service area and cover for regular staff absences. The work involves providing support and care to service users based on individual needs. You should be able to work at least three days per week. Qualifications You must be at least 18 years old. It is advantageous if you are a trained support assistant, meaning you have completed a care and nursing program with a focus on functional disabilities or a child and leisure program with a focus on educational or social work. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with people with functional variations. We also welcome applicants who are inexperienced but have plans to train for a healthcare profession. You need to speak and understand Swedish well and be able to express yourself clearly in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You should be responsible, flexible, and have an interest in meeting people in their everyday lives. For certain positions, a class B driving license is required. Terms and Conditions These are hourly-paid fixed-term positions with varying hours to cover our staffing needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and for certain positions also nights or sleeping on-call duty at night. You should be able to report to the workplace within one hour of us calling you, and you should have childcare arranged. If you become active as a temporary staff member, you will need to enter your availability in our Time Care Pool system for five weeks ahead. To be employed within the service, you must provide a criminal record clearance. Order a clearance for "Work in the home with elderly and people with disabilities" from www.polisen.se.
