The Kitchen Unit in Mullsjö Municipality is responsible for meal services to the municipality's preschools, schools, and elderly care. Every day we serve well-prepared meals to our nursing homes, home care services, restaurant visitors, schools, and preschools. The Kitchen Unit wants to provide children, youth, and our elderly in the municipality with a good dining experience and inspire them to try new flavors and dishes. 4 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a temporary kitchen staff member, you will substitute for regular staff during absences. Your working hours may vary according to the needs of the operation and are often determined on short notice. Since the workplace and work tasks vary, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy seeing and learning new ways of working. As temporary kitchen staff, you will primarily work with food and salad preparation, order picking, dishwashing, cleaning, and meal transport. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a cook or meal assistant in a large kitchen. It is an advantage to have training from a hotel and restaurant program at upper secondary school or equivalent vocational training. You have a clear customer focus and enjoy working in a team with good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you have personal maturity and are flexible, which allows you to easily adapt to circumstances. You are service-oriented and appreciate varied work where you can prioritize your tasks, even in demanding situations. We are looking for someone who is quality-conscious, enjoys being independent, and has no problem taking own initiative. Employment Form: Fixed-term employment.
