The Social Services Department in Örkelljunga municipality consists of social services, elderly care, municipal health and medical care, support for people with disabilities, and preventive functions. We are organized into a preventive unit, administrative unit, and operational unit. WORK DUTIES The work duties are varied and can include, in residential support, assistance with shopping, motivation to maintain structure and schedule, support with wellbeing, and contact with various authorities. In home care, it encompasses everything from personal care, daily household tasks, medication administration, and social contact. The individual's changing needs are met based on an individual implementation plan. As a temporary employee in home care or residential support, you collaborate with the department's nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. Documentation is an important part of the work to ensure users' needs are met in the best way possible. We use Lifecare as a system for social documentation and Intraphone to plan our services. The individual's needs determine which services are relevant and how often services are provided. Services are based on needs assessments under the Social Services Act. Working hours are distributed across all days of the week, with varying work times. QUALIFICATIONS For all positions, a Class B driver's license is required. We are seeking you with experience as: - Nursing assistant (to be employed as a nursing assistant requires certification and protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare) - Care assistant - Caregiver - Or similar education and experience that the employer deems equivalent - Pedagogical or treatment-oriented education - Experience with motivational interviewing (MI) - Competence and work experience in the field and target groups You have knowledge, experience, and a genuine interest in working with people. Your ability to find good balance between helping and providing guidance is strong, and it is self-evident for you to be a good role model for users and colleagues alike. Your drive, commitment, and positive approach create a meaningful everyday life for users, where the individual's needs are central. You are self-directed and have a good ability to plan your day and can adapt to changed circumstances, approaching challenges with the conviction that nothing is impossible! The team is small, where collaboration, care, and flexibility together with your colleagues are crucial. You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Working hours: Day/evening/weekend Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis during the application period, and placement occurs by agreement. In connection with an interview, you need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or identity certificate together with ID documentation. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit, which is required after verification according to the Aliens Ordinance. Following a job offer, you as an applicant need to submit an extract from the criminal record before employment can occur. Orders are placed via the police website.
