Work Tasks As home care staff, you play an important role in direct contact with our clients, providing personal care and support in daily life including social interaction, help with personal hygiene, cleaning, medication administration, and delegated tasks from nursing staff, as well as digital documentation. Work is carried out with careful consideration for each client's individual needs. Work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Most tasks are performed in the client's home, which you reach by walking, cycling, or driving a car. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary care program or has experience from care work or other experience that the employer deems relevant. Holds a B driver's license and has driving experience. Has good IT skills, which means you are comfortable using a computer/mobile phone to document, report incidents, and read emails as required by the organization. You master the Swedish language so that you can communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and family members as required by the organization. Working as home care staff requires you to be able to structure your work and follow procedures and care plans, while at the same time being confident in yourself and able to adapt and find solutions during the day as things constantly change in our operations. You work with people who need our care, and it is important that you have the ability to empathize with others' situations, are a good listener, and show consideration and respect toward those around you. We are a team working to ensure clients receive the care they are entitled to, and together with your colleagues you should find solutions so that tasks are completed as effectively as possible. Other Information Background Check To work in direct contact with clients and patients, you must provide an extract from the police's criminal record. You should request the extract yourself from the Swedish Police Authority using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record" from the form archive on the police website.
