Do you want to contribute to creating a meaningful everyday life for our service users? We're looking for temporary workers in disability care services, where you can make a difference. Working as a temporary worker means you work as needed. You'll be booked by the Staffing Unit via Time Care Pool and perform your work at our facilities throughout Sölvesborg Municipality. This work suits you if you want to work with people in need of support, care and assistance, can work irregular hours and be ready to step in on short notice. With us, you support our service users in their daily lives in various ways, from helping with household chores to accompanying them on activities. Within support services, you can work at group homes, service apartments, as a personal assistant, or in children's activities. The activities follow the Act on Support and Service for People with Certain Disabilities (LSS). All activities are centered on the individual's needs. 20 position(s). WORK DUTIES Work duties vary depending on the individual's needs and may include helping with personal care, meals, cleaning, walks, phone calls, and shopping. The work also involves supporting, assisting, and providing educational support to service users, working in clear and motivating ways. The days are often filled with fun activities and exciting ventures! You will make a difference every day. The work involves shifts during day, evening, weekends, and/or night. Night work may involve awake night shifts or on-call sleep-in duty. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, structured, and keeps the service user's needs in focus. You enjoy collaborating, taking own initiatives, and bring positive energy. It's important that you have a respectful and professional approach with service users, relatives, and colleagues. We place great value on who you are as a person; your willingness to learn and your commitment are more important than experience. If you have education or experience in care or children's activities, that's a merit, but it's not a requirement. Documentation and communication are important parts of daily work, so you need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. If you don't have a passing grade in Swedish at high school level, a language test will be used to ensure competence. The recruiting manager may decide to use a language test even if you have a passing grade. To work in several of our facilities, you need a category B driver's license, ideally have access to your own car, and be able to cycle. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 11 days - 3 months, Start date: Continuous hiring. According to the Act (2026:43) on criminal record checks for work in the home of elderly persons or adults with disabilities, you must be able to provide a criminal record extract upon employment offer. If you're offered work in children's activities, you must also, according to the Act (2010:479) on criminal record checks of personnel performing certain services for children with disabilities, provide a criminal record extract.
