Educating children and young people is one of society's most important tasks, which places demands on your knowledge, creativity, and pedagogical ability. We want you to have a strong interest and previous experience working with children and/or young people, for example as a teacher, sports instructor, babysitter, or camp leader. Job Duties The assignment involves serving as a substitute during a regular teacher's absence. This could mean teaching individual lessons on your own or supporting another teacher. As a teacher substitute in elementary school, you are expected to manage, interact with, and communicate with students with different needs in a good and pedagogical manner. The grade levels can vary between preschool class and grade 9. Requirements Upper secondary school diploma Good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. To be able to work in schools, you need to provide an extract from the criminal records register.
