The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people in different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act. It can be about providing elderly people with a secure and meaningful daily life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations. DUTIES Do you want to work with health and medical care where your professional judgment really makes a difference? With us, you meet a workday filled with variation, personal responsibility, and a meaningful mission where the person is always at the center. We are now seeking temporary nurses. As a nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up health and medical care services within the municipality's areas of responsibility. You work with patients in ordinary and special housing, within functional support and social psychiatry – depending on your placement. Your work tasks include, among other things: - Independently perform medical assessments and interventions - Collaborate with teams, relatives, and other actors regarding patient care - Guide and delegate work tasks to nursing staff - Document according to applicable legislation and guidelines Work is carried out during daytime, evenings, and weekends, nights, depending on the needs of the activities and your wishes. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are confident in your professional role, take responsibility for the quality of care, and have good interpersonal skills. You need to be able to make your own decisions while collaborating with others on the team. You also have the ability to document according to applicable laws and procedures. We also see that you have: - Nursing license - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing - B-class driver's license is required for the position Experience from municipal health and medical care is a merit.
