Do you want a role where your expertise makes a real difference? As a schedule planner in the Mälarbanan Program, you'll take a central position in one of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects. Here you'll combine strategic planning with close collaboration and help drive an important societal program forward—while becoming part of an experienced team where knowledge sharing and community are highly valued. Main Responsibilities Mälarbanan is a vital part of the railway network connecting Örebro, Västerås, and Enköping to Stockholm. Mälarbanan is also part of Stockholm's local commuter rail network. The program covers approximately 20 kilometers of railway between Tomteboda and Kallhäll in northwestern Stockholm and is one of the country's most heavily trafficked routes. In your role as schedule planner in the Mälarbanan Program, you'll have a central function in ensuring that the program's schedules are current, realistic, and well-anchored. You'll serve as qualified support on schedule-related matters and be responsible for establishing, coordinating, and monitoring the program's schedules. Your work will include scenario analyses, production scheduling, and ongoing monitoring and reporting of partial schedules and deliveries. You'll also participate in schedule-related reviews and work closely with project management and the program's other planners to create favorable conditions for progress and goal achievement. The role involves independent responsibility for ensuring that the program's schedules are updated and aligned with operational needs. You'll become a welcome colleague to our unit, which consists of dedicated and skilled colleagues with broad combined experience and expertise. We value collaboration and open knowledge sharing, where we support each other on both everyday matters and complex challenges. With your experience, we see you contributing both independent drive and strong teamwork, while generously sharing your knowledge and experience with the team. Your future manager is Malin Öberg. With strong analytical problem-solving abilities, you can evaluate different alternatives and draw well-founded conclusions. The role involves many internal and external contacts, which requires strong collaboration skills. You're attentive, ask relevant questions, and have the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from different operations to create consensus and good conditions for the program's planning and execution.
