Your Role The Surveillance business area offers effective solutions for surveillance and decision support, and systems to detect and protect against various types of threats. The product portfolio includes airborne, land-based and marine radar systems, electronic warfare and self-protection systems, command and control systems, as well as maritime and air traffic management systems. We are now looking for experienced technical project leaders who want to drive both delivery and product projects. With us, you will have a key role in leading the integration and overall management of complex system deliveries of some of the world's leading systems in our field. As a technical project leader, you have the overall responsibility for ensuring that the project meets technical requirements within budget and delivers according to plan. The role involves responsibility for leading and coordinating technical activities in projects - both internally within our teams and externally toward the customer. Being a technical project leader also means: Lead and ensure progress on technical work within the projects Responsible for customer and supplier contact for technical aspects Support the project manager with materials for customer meetings Monitor project activities and ensure project commitments and progress through active leadership Coordinate and establish requirements for internal technical functions, including definition of the project scope itself, schedule, budget, and resource needs Have the ability to conduct system analyses of prospects already in the Win Business phase, have sufficient technical understanding to create materials for estimation work, and also drive/lead design activities The placement location for the position is in Arboga. Your Profile You are a person with solid experience in technical project management. You have an engineering degree, preferably at the master's level, and several years of experience in systems work. We believe that today you work as a systems engineer, lead engineer, architect, or in a similar role in complex projects, where you have had a clear responsibility for technical direction, coordination, and overall management. You have a good ability to find efficient solutions and have an easy time navigating the organization and communicating with our internal suppliers to solve and prevent problems and challenges. The position also includes a great deal of communication with external customers, which requires good business acumen, as well as good knowledge of both Swedish and English in writing and speech. Meritorious is knowledge and work experience supported by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). It is also meritorious if you have experience working in the defense industry. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance.
