About the Workplace Adult Services Authority is part of the Adult Unit within Individual and Family Care, which belongs to the Social and Labor Market Committee. As an employee at Adult Services Authority in Sala, you work with colleagues in good community and an open work climate with strong commitment. The Adult Services Authority unit currently has five investigators with government authority responsibilities, two residential coordinators, and a project leader for the "Housing First" project. The Adult Unit also includes seven caseworkers for financial assistance, an administrator, and two team leaders with a shared unit director. You will work closely with other team leaders in Individual and Family Care. Adult Services Authority is part of the Social and Labor Market Committee and we work based on trust-based management close to operations and with a coaching approach. In your role as team leader, collaboration with other parts of the municipality and external actors is also included, where in your role as team leader you are an important link, both in strategic and practical work. You also contribute to building comprehensive solutions around the individual, with the goal of strengthening conditions for self-support and a sustainable life. Duties As a team leader within Adult Services Authority, you have overall responsibility for leading, distributing, and following up on the daily work within the team. You coach, mentor, and create conditions for a good work environment and lawful case handling. In the role, you work closely with the unit director and colleagues to develop procedures and ensure quality in processes. As a team leader with us, you are expected to contribute to a holistic approach where we look beyond the unit's assignment and instead work together across organizational boundaries. You have an important role in promoting collaboration both internally and externally. You are a key person in our development journey toward a more digital, accessible, and efficient way of working. You will lead and inspire your team, create a positive and secure work environment, and at the same time work to improve our processes and service. You need to contribute to ensuring that our shared resources are used effectively. Qualifications Experience in leadership or coordination responsibilities in social services in various areas is meritorious Education in leadership Good knowledge of the Social Services Act and relevant legislation Ability to create structure, motivation, and engagement in a work group Good communication skills in speech and writing Class B driver's license We are looking for someone with the right education and experience in a relevant field who wants to develop further in a learning organization.
