At our Falun Orthodontic Clinic, orthodontists, specialty dentists, orthodontic assistants, and dental hygienists work together in a dedicated team focused on high-quality orthodontic treatment. We are in an exciting development phase. This fall, we are starting three specialist dentist positions together with Örebro and Mora Orthodontic Clinic. At the same time, two of our dental hygienists have recently begun advanced training as orthodontic assistants – something we are very pleased and proud of. We see a growing need to further strengthen our expertise and need more orthodontic assistants in our department. For those interested, there are therefore good opportunities to pursue further education in orthodontics during your employment with us. We work with the T4 patient management system and use both digital radiography and intraoral scanning. Responsibilities As a dental hygienist with us, you will have a varied and developmental role focused on orthodontics. Your responsibilities include: Clinical work within the dental hygienist's scope of practice Collaboration with orthodontists and orthodontic assistants regarding our patients Reception work and sterilization work in varying amounts Qualifications Requirements: Dental hygienist qualification with interest in orthodontics Merits: Experience in orthodontics Experience working in pediatric and adolescent dental care Experience with independent patient care Personal Qualities: We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is thorough and responsible with a good manner in interactions with patients and colleagues.
