The Learning Center is the hub where skills supply, integration, and the labor market meet. As a career and educational counselor with us, you'll be part of a team that works strategically and operationally to support young people and adults. We work with several school types and with adults in the municipality who need help finding new paths, seeing possibilities, and awakening dreams about future career and vocational choices. Your focus will be on adult education. In Hultsfred, all adult education is gathered under one roof. We offer Swedish for immigrants (SFI), upper secondary education at basic and secondary levels, vocational adult education, customized adult education, vocational and higher education programs, as well as commissioned training. The programs are available both locally in Hultsfred and at a distance in collaboration with other organizations. Hultsfred Learning Center is part of the new organization Work and Skills within the municipal administration and has the mission to contribute to increased skills supply and more municipal residents in work and studies. As a career and educational counselor with us, you will meet, among others, newly arrived adults who have just started their SFI education, students who want to complete their compulsory and upper secondary education, and people who want to study at higher education level. You will: • Provide guidance individually and in groups • Contribute to developing guidance initiatives throughout the municipality • Collaborate with schools, the labor market, adult education, and other organizations • Be part of a creative and supportive team with a shared mission Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a career and educational counselor and wants to help strengthen young people's and adults' future choices in the municipality. You thrive in collaborations and in teams where we help each other, take initiative when needed, and work flexibly and solution-focused. We would prefer that you have experience in guidance within different school forms and are confident in adapting your support to individuals' needs. For this position, you must be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English; additional languages are a merit. A category B driver's license is required.
