About the Role As a System Test Lead within Husqvarna's Pro Robotics operations, you have a key role in ensuring high quality in both newly developed features and further development of already launched robotic lawn mowers for professional use. You become part of the test team with clear responsibility for system testing, quality assurance, and coordination – while working operatively close to the product yourself. The role combines hands-on system testing with a leading responsibility for planning, structure, and follow-up of test activities in projects and development teams. You function as a natural hub between testing, development, and other stakeholders, and actively contribute to driving quality mindset and efficient working methods throughout the development chain. Testing occurs at the system level with focus on functionality, performance, reliability, and user experience. The work includes both regression and function-specific tests linked to new implementations and further development, and is carried out through a combination of manual and automated tests – both in simulator environments and in real installations and field tests. The position is based in Huskvarna, but you will travel abroad to Husqvarna's test site approximately 2–5 weeks per year, primarily for focused efforts in connection with verification and field testing. In your role as System Test Lead, you will: Plan, coordinate, and follow up system test activities within projects and development teams Allocate and balance test work within the team based on competence, needs, and priorities Work operatively as a system tester in parallel with your leadership responsibility Ensure good test coverage and traceability to requirements and functions Support the team in troubleshooting, analysis, and verification of fixes Serve as a central point of contact between system testing, development, product owner, and other stakeholders Contribute to and drive further development of test strategies, structures, and working methods You typically manage yourself and 3–4 testers, while being an active and natural part of the team's daily work and delivery. Your Profile We are looking for you who have several years of practical experience in software testing or a related field and who want to continue developing in a technically advanced environment. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and have an aptitude for understanding complex technical contexts. You are communicative and confident in presenting test results and reasoning to both team members and other stakeholders. As a person, you are driven and solution-oriented, and you appreciate supporting more junior colleagues when the opportunity arises. In the long term, the role can develop toward more responsibility within the team, such as through coordination or mentoring. Requirements for the Position: Bachelor's degree or higher in software development, embedded development, testing, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent Approximately 2–3 years of relevant work experience in testing/development of embedded software/equivalent Strong interest in testing, quality, and robotic systems Very good knowledge of English Swedish B driver's license Can reside and work in the Huskvarna area and travel for work Meritorious for the Position: Very good knowledge of Swedish Basic knowledge of embedded systems, software testing, or programming Experience with tools such as JIRA and/or Azure DevOps Husqvarna's Intro Program When you start at Husqvarna, you do so together with several other people who are at the same stage of their career.
