Your Role Our Systems Engineering section within mechanics is looking for a driven and technically competent systems engineer. As a member of our team, you will be involved in the entire development chain for mechanical systems and hardware, from concept to finished product and product maintenance. Requirements and verification work demand broad technical competence since our products span multiple technical areas. Within the section, technical development projects are conducted that you may become involved in. This includes, for example, improvement projects regarding enhanced working methods or projects related to feasibility studies of new products, new materials, and manufacturing methods. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is initiative-taking and problem-solving with an interest in mechanics. You thrive in collaboration with others, but also have the ability to independently drive work tasks in a structured manner. By collaborating across interfaces with other functions while being attentive and curious, you make this possible. Coordination and follow-up are essential. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in complex technical products. You have a university or civil engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering or similar. The position suits both you who have recently graduated and you with a few years of experience in mechanical design and product development. We would like to see that you have experience in a leadership role within technical professions and are accustomed to working in development projects. If you have previous experience from the defense industry or from Saab's products, that is a merit. Since we collaborate with both local and international suppliers as well as colleagues from different parts of the organization, fluent Swedish and English are a requirement to work effectively and maintain high quality in our processes. The position also involves regular contact with operations at different locations within the organization, which means that a valid driver's license is a requirement. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security regulations in effect. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
