About the Role As a systems architect, you hold a central role in the municipality's digitalization efforts. You work both strategically and operatively to develop and manage the municipality's systems architecture, while ensuring that our IT solutions support the needs of the business – today and in the future. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: - Develop and manage the municipality's systems and integration architecture - Ensure that new solutions comply with established architecture principles, standards, and security requirements - Participate in procurements, requirement specifications, and implementation of IT systems - Work operatively with integrations, system flows, and technical decisions - Support business units in digital development, system selection, and change initiatives - Collaborate with internal IT functions and external suppliers - Support the Information Security Officer regarding IT security and technical compliance related to GDPR and cybersecurity requirements - Contribute to documentation, structure, and long-term development of the municipality's IT environment About the Workplace You will become part of a small IT organization centrally located at the Municipal Executive Office, where collaboration, participation, and responsibility are important parts of everyday life. The role involves close cooperation with both business units and IT colleagues, which provides great opportunities to influence and contribute to daily work. During fall 2026, a transition to the municipality's new IT operations provider is underway, where you will be an important team player for a successful implementation. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you have: - Relevant higher education or university degree in IT, systems science, data technology, or other education that the employer deems equivalent - Several years of experience working as a systems architect, solutions architect, or similar senior technical role - Experience working with complex system environments and integrations - Good understanding of system landscapes, information flows, and IT infrastructure - Experience with requirement specifications, technical decisions, and supplier collaboration - Strong knowledge of information security, IT security, and relevant regulations - Ability to translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions - Experience working both strategically and operatively in development and change initiatives - Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing - Experience training employees Knowledge Areas We see that you have knowledge in several of the following areas: - Systems architecture and solutions design - Integrations and information flows between systems - IT infrastructure and modern IT environments - Information security and IT security work - Identity and access management - Cloud services and hybrid environments - Requirement specifications and technical documentation - Architecture principles, standards, and governance - Data protection and regulations such as GDPR and cybersecurity requirements - Change management and digital business development - APIs and integration platforms - Azure, Microsoft 365, and Intune - Networks and security solutions - Automation and identity management Meritorious Experience It is advantageous if you have: - Experience from the public sector or municipal operations - Knowledge of integration platforms and cloud-based solutions - Experience with architecture frameworks and documentation models - Experience in project management or technical coordination - Knowledge of digitalization, automation, and business development - Experience working with cybersecurity and continuity management Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and has a good holistic perspective.
