IT-Centrum is the administration for the joint IT committee of Heby, Knivsta, Tierp, Älvkarleby, and Östhammars municipalities. Our area of responsibility encompasses IT-strategic, tactical, and operational matters. Our primary task is to provide a secure and well-functioning IT environment. We are passionate about usability, flexibility, and security, and actively work to support our member municipalities' digital development. Our goal is to offer a modern technical platform and infrastructure. We are responsible for infrastructure development, operations, management, support, and installations within our cooperating municipalities' IT environments. As the need for competent employees grows, we are now seeking additional staff members for our team. This position is based in Heby and involves frequent customer visits throughout the municipality. We operate from Heby Municipal Center. Travel to all member municipalities may occur. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a 2nd line technician in Heby, you are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving user issues, both on-site and via remote support. You register, prioritize, and manage tickets in our ticketing system. You also perform initial on-site checks for network issues and assist our network technicians with on-site troubleshooting. Your social skills and ability to communicate clearly are crucial to success in this role. You are outgoing, enjoy working close to customers, and can plan your workday efficiently to meet various needs. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement, as communication is central to the role. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • Experience working in IT support, helpdesk, or similar role (preferably 2nd line) • Practical experience troubleshooting hardware and software in client environments • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and mobile platforms such as iOS and Android • Experience with remote support and/or on-site support • Experience with ticket management and documentation in ITSM systems • Good ability to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both spoken and written • Valid driver's license (Category B) Desirable: • Experience with user and permission management in Active Directory • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration • Experience with MDM solutions for mobile device management • Experience working in the public sector or larger complex IT environments Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Ongoing.
