In addition to your workplace-specific orientation, you will also participate in our comprehensive orientation week for new employees, KULE – Clinical Education at Lasarettet in Enköping, where we offer an interprofessional program. Here you will meet and collaborate with colleagues from several different professions. For newly qualified nurses, we also offer enhanced orientation for an additional three months. This includes reflective professional mentoring as well as shadowing and coaching from our clinical instructor. You will also have the opportunity to participate in practical training at our KTC (Clinical Training Center), a safe and supportive environment to practice and develop your skills. Our operations We are a general medical department with 24 care beds, where we offer specialized care for stroke patients, among other services. The department consists of approximately 50 employees and we work in multiprofessional teams, in accordance with national guidelines for stroke care. Here in the department, you will have the opportunity to grow with us and become part of our commitment to providing our patients with the best possible care. As an employee at Medical Department 2, you will have a broad medical foundation, as we treat patients from all areas of medicine, which makes your work varied and educational. We value a safe work environment where everyone, both patients and staff, feels included and satisfied. With us, you will receive support from a senior nurse who helps new employees get into the work, as well as a coordinator and a discharge nurse who make daily work smoother. Your qualifications You are a student in the nursing program and are beginning term 6. We place high value on personal suitability – being responsible, motivated, flexible, and curious. We offer • Permanent employment as a care assistant or nursing assistant if you have prior nursing assistant training. • When you present your nursing license, your employment will be converted to a permanent position as a nurse. • A commitment to work with us for at least 12 months after graduation. • The opportunity to work as a nursing assistant or care assistant during your studies – however, this is not required.
