Job Description We are seeking a career and academic advisor at 100% employment. Your responsibilities will include career and academic guidance for students and collaboration with guardians and school staff. The role includes guiding and informing our students individually and in groups regarding upcoming educational and career choices. You will also handle administration related to upper secondary school selection and plan and follow up on PRAO (practical work experience). Working together with educators and Bergsjö School's student wellness team, you will promote and prevent issues to improve student well-being and increase goal achievement for all students. You will also support staff at other schools in the municipality with questions about education and working life, and work to expand collaboration with the business and industry sector. You are also responsible for revising the municipality's career and academic guidance plan. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a career and academic advisor and who has: the ability to motivate students and create a safe and educational school environment. high expectations for students and want them to succeed. strong ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. the willingness and commitment to develop career and academic guidance work in the municipality and at Bergsjö School.
