JOB DUTIES The assignment as a support pedagogue involves creating the opportunity to live like others in society through participation, independence and normalization, based on the individual's specific needs and circumstances. The support pedagogue shall support, guide and motivate the individual in daily life in order to maintain and develop their abilities. Right now we are seeking support pedagogues for several different activities within disability care services. The goal of the assignment is to strengthen the individual's confidence in their own ability, so that conditions are created for development, as well as security and structure in everyday life. The assignment is governed primarily by the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general guidelines, municipal governing documents, and the individual's implementation plan. The target group is people with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism or autism-like conditions, as well as people with mental or physical disabilities who have a decision on support according to LSS or SoL. The assignment includes contributing to one's own, the group's and the organization's development and knowledge. Methodology support and improvement work are part of the assignment. QUALIFICATIONS Relevant post-secondary education comprising at least one year of full-time studies at vocational higher education, for example support pedagogue (200 yh) or appropriate bachelor's degree from a university or college. Experience within the field is a requirement. The competence obtained through education must have been applied in work and preferably with experience working with people with disabilities. A driver's license is required for positions in group homes. As a person, you have a good ability to take initiative and to collaborate. You are calm, attentive and accommodating in your approach. You have an interest, willingness and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Interviews are held continuously. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to verify your identity in one of the following three ways: - Passport - National ID card showing citizenship - ID card combined with a certificate of identity showing citizenship. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you also need to present a valid residence permit and/or work permit in Sweden. To protect the safety of users, a criminal record certificate for work with elderly people and people with disabilities must be presented before employment. You order the certificate yourself from the Police; the certificate may not be older than six months. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent position.
