Ängen Servicebostad LSS is seeking a committed support educator who, together with residents and colleagues, wants to work to develop the activities. Ängen is a service residence with 10 residential units located in central Båstad. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a support educator at Ängen, you will drive forward the pedagogical work. You use your expertise to develop pedagogical solutions together with residents and colleagues. You also use your expertise to support your colleagues in methods and planning of daily work. You work together with your colleagues who are support assistants in the daily work with residents, but some time is dedicated specifically to support educator work. As a support educator at Ängen, you collaborate with other support educators in our LSS activities and method supporters, as well as other external partners. Working hours include both day and evening shifts, as well as every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS You have a professional education as a support educator, or other vocational/higher education that the employer considers equivalent and relevant for the position. For this position, you must have previous experience working within LSS and experience working with intellectual disabilities and autism, as well as care work. It is an advantage if you have previously worked at a service residence. As a support educator at Ängen, you need to work with low-affective approaches, have patience, and have strong commitment to our target group. You need to be able to collaborate and build trust with both residents and your colleagues, and be able to set clear professional boundaries. Additional training in alternative and augmentative communication, low-affective approaches, and methods such as conversation mats are advantageous. Driver's license category B is a requirement.
