As a support educator, you work actively at the group home by offering support, service, and care as well as planned interventions and activities in consultation with the client. You motivate and support clients in their daily activities. The support you provide is always based on the client's individual needs and should promote independence and participation. Support services are provided with respect for the client's integrity and self-determination. Statutory and professional responsibility for established support services according to LSS. Responsibility for, together with the client and contact person, establishing implementation plans. Ensuring that services outlined in the client's implementation plan are planned, implemented, evaluated, and developed. Responsibility for social documentation related to the assignment as well as delegated HSL services. To cooperate with internal and external networks and other collaboration partners. To lead and mentor colleagues in pedagogical work and pedagogical methods, which means seeking, gathering, and disseminating new knowledge about pedagogical methods in the operation. Apply in-depth knowledge and share competence and expertise with other employees. Examples of work tasks: Support during meals, social presence, support conversations, activities Responsibility for mapping the client's abilities Establishing implementation plans Personal care Mentoring colleagues Working hours are scheduled for day shifts, evening shifts, sleep-in on-call, and every other weekend. About Syren Syren is an LSS unit that serves adult persons within LSS target group 1. Syren has 6 apartments and is located in Höör Municipality, surrounded by fantastic nature. In your role as a support educator, you are responsible, structured, and have excellent collaboration skills. You notice others' perspectives and competence and give them space in the group in a way that benefits the whole. You take independent responsibility for your own work tasks in both success and setbacks. You also take responsibility for the common result and do what needs to be done for the organization to achieve its goals. Education as a support educator 400yh, or higher education of at least 60 credits in what the employer deems relevant; the field should have a clear focus on disability services. At least 2 years of combined professional experience from pedagogical work directed toward persons with functional variations within LSS. Requirement of good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Good physical ability, as the work includes activities with clients. Education and experience in several of the following areas: clarifying pedagogy and alternative communication TEACCH, TAKK, social stories, challenging behavior, MI, and Low Affective Contact.
