We are now looking for Support Assistants who want to contribute to the development taking place in our Group Housing facilities within the Functional Support Division in Sundbyberg Municipality. Brief information about the activities we are recruiting for Solskiftet Group Housing is located in Rissne. The group housing is surrounded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees and shrubs. Currently, 4 people live at Solskiftet. It is a relatively newly established operation where we are looking for people who want to help build a world-class operation! Ursvik 1 is a Group Housing facility located in a newly built residential area in Ursvik along Gamla Enköpingsvägen. Currently, 5 people live at Ursvik 1. The operation works closely with the individual with high staff density and individually tailored support. Here we are looking for you, someone who sees that increased independence in something small can lead to significant development for the individual. Ursvik 2 is a Group Housing facility located in the same residential area as Ursvik 1. Currently, 5 people live at Ursvik 2. The operation has high staff density and works with the individual in focus. The operation recently began using the digital management system "Boet" which both streamlines the workflow and increases participation and influence for the people living there. Positions Ursvik 1: 1 Permanent position, full-time (probation may apply). Start date immediate or by agreement. Ursvik 2: 1 Permanent position, full-time (probation may apply). Start date immediate or by agreement. Solskiftet: 1 Permanent position, full-time (probation may apply). Start date 2026-09-01 or by agreement. 2 Fixed-term positions, full-time (6 months with possibility of extension and/or permanent employment). Start date immediate or by agreement. Your work tasks will primarily involve providing practical and pedagogical support, which is mainly provided in the individual's home and in the immediate vicinity (but support can also be provided elsewhere if the individual has such needs). We work based on the individual's needs and constantly strive to fulfill the individual's wishes and dreams. The work is also guided by a government mandate with set goals and the individual's implementation plan. As a support assistant within the Functional Support Division, you are a bearer of Sundbyberg Municipality's vision, values, and principles. You should work pedagogically and individually tailored by coaching, supporting, and being present in all activities and actions concerning the resident and which the resident wishes, based on this the need for support can be provided in situations carried out outdoors and/or that are physically demanding. We want you to have care education with a focus on functional disabilities, preferably support assistant training or other education that the employer deems equivalent. If you have additional training in autism or psychiatry, this is a merit. Other desirable qualifications include: Knowledge and experience of working in a low-affect manner with associated tools, AAC, TEACCH, and other pedagogical methods. Previous experience working in a structured manner following clear procedures. Previous experience managing problematic and acting-out behavior based on risk assessments and action plans. Personal suitability carries significant weight in this recruitment. Other information Recruitment will take place continuously during the announcement period.
