About the Unit Southern Military Region (MR S) is one of four military regions in Sweden, which represent a permanent military geographical division of Sweden's territory. The Military Region is responsible for territorial command & coordination of operations and operations, total defense planning, defense planning, intelligence and security services, and support to society. The responsibility also includes production and operational leadership of MR S five Military Region Groups with eleven associated Home Guard battalions. Main Duties As a staff assistant in MR S Staff, you take the next step in your career in the Armed Forces. We tailor a program that may include service in multiple sections with associated training, all based on your wishes and abilities as well as the staff's needs. We are currently seeking a staff assistant for MR S J6 and its support units with primary focus on communications and command systems. The role includes work in the staff's command support system as well as editorial work in the preparation of orders, reports, and plans, but also support to the staff with other administrative tasks such as commandant's office, purchasing, and dispatch service. The work is varied and requires rapid pace changes and good cooperation skills while maintaining composure. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Driver's license class B Approved high school diploma Good knowledge of MS Office Approved military basic training Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Personal Qualities As a staff assistant, you have a knack for working according to clear processes and enjoy completing what you start. You have an unpretentious approach and can easily adapt to different constellations and situations. You have good analytical ability and are confident in performing under pressure. We consider it advantageous if you have plans to apply for professional officer or specialist officer training and can envision a future career in the Armed Forces.
