About the Unit M4 is the Naval Staff's Logistics Department consisting of three sections. The Logistics Department is responsible for Navy logistics during operations, missions, and exercises. The department also manages capability-building logistics, primarily in supply, healthcare, and storage management. The Staff Assistant is placed within the Logistics Section under M4. The Logistics Section plans, directs, and monitors logistics in connection with naval operations, missions, and regulates logistics readiness in the naval units. The section also regulates logistics directives within the Navy and participates in exercise planning. Main Responsibilities The Staff Assistant is part of the Operational Logistics Detail, which is a sub-function of the Logistics Department within the Naval Staff. The Staff Assistant provides staff support primarily to the Operational Logistics Detail with various tasks related to logistics in particular. The main task is primarily administrative in nature at the Navy's command center at the log desk, but in certain cases will include tasks involving support to other parts of the Logistics Department. You will participate in the Naval Staff's exercises, planning, and execution of operations and missions. The Staff Assistant supports, participates in, and works with other parts of the Logistics Section's tasks where readiness may be included. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed military service or military basic training with good grades Good computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, and can work both independently and in a work group. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. MERITORIOUS Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces support systems and FM AP with software such as Outlook, Office, and PRIO. Other Information The employment is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period according to the Swedish Armed Forces agreement for non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and sailors (GSS/K).
