We are now seeking a dedicated special education teacher who wants to contribute to developing strong student wellbeing and an accessible learning environment where every student has the best possible conditions to succeed. Job Responsibilities As a special education teacher, you work closely with school leadership, teachers, and other professionals in student wellbeing. You have a central role in preventive and promotion work and contribute specialized educational expertise at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Your duties include, among others: - Mentor and support educators in creating accessible learning environments. - Conduct pedagogical assessments, investigations, and analyses of students' needs. - Establish, monitor, and evaluate intervention programs. - Contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical work and student wellbeing initiatives. - Collaborate with guardians and external partners as needed. - Be an active and driving member of the school's student wellbeing team. - Participate in the school's systematic quality improvement efforts. Qualifications Requirements - Special education teacher certification. - Teacher certification with authorization to work in primary/basic school. - Strong ability to collaborate and build trustful relationships. - Strong knowledge of inclusive practices and accessible learning environments. - Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a development-oriented approach. Merits - Experience working as a special education teacher in primary/basic school. - Experience in student wellbeing work and interprofessional collaboration. - Experience mentoring educational staff. - Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities and adaptations in learning environments. - Experience with organizational development initiatives.
