Job Responsibilities As a special education teacher, you work closely with school leadership, teachers, and other professionals in student wellbeing. You have a central role in preventive and promotion work and contribute specialized educational expertise at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Your duties include, among others: - Mentor and support educators in creating accessible learning environments. - Conduct pedagogical assessments, investigations, and analyses of students' needs. - Establish, monitor, and evaluate intervention programs. - Contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical work and student wellbeing initiatives. - Collaborate with guardians and external partners as needed. - Be an active and driving member of the school's student wellbeing team. - Participate in the school's systematic quality improvement efforts. Qualifications Requirements - Special education teacher certification. - Teacher certification with authorization to work in primary/basic school. - Strong ability to collaborate and build trustful relationships. - Strong knowledge of inclusive practices and accessible learning environments. - Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a development-oriented approach. Merits - Experience working as a special education teacher in primary/basic school. - Experience in student wellbeing work and interprofessional collaboration. - Experience mentoring educational staff. - Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities and adaptations in learning environments. - Experience with organizational development initiatives.
