We offer a combination position at 100% as a Special Education Teacher and Assistant Principal, and we are looking for someone passionate about accessible teaching and learning environments, with extensive experience in the process and aspects of specialized support. As a Special Education Teacher, your task is to provide specialized pedagogical expertise to support the educational work, both in assessment work and in guidance and practical work. Together with the school's student support team, you provide support in mapping obstacles and opportunities in the school environment. The school primarily uses Schoolsoft, StudyBee, and Google. In your role as Assistant Principal, you join the school's management team and lead, together with the Principal, the pedagogical work and work toward continued high quality and good results for our students. The Principal delegates areas of responsibility and work tasks based on the school's needs, and you also act as Acting Principal when required. The position includes personnel and workplace environment responsibility; it is therefore a merit if you have previous experience in management and personnel responsibility. The assignment involves contact with colleagues and students, as well as external contacts with guardians and municipalities. We are looking for someone who is a responsible individual with focus on the assignment. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is a trained Special Education Teacher with management experience and who can handle the assignment described above. Beyond your specific expertise, we want you to contribute engagement, humor, and humility to our school. You are creative in planning and executing your assignment, as well as time-efficient and thorough.
