WORK DUTIES As a lead special education teacher with us, you will be an important part of the student wellness team and in the development of our student wellness work. Together with another special education teacher, you are responsible for developing special education expertise across all units. The work tasks are primarily health-promoting and preventive. This includes special education guidance/consultation aimed at promoting increased awareness of approaches and interactions among educators. Special education expertise is also utilized in collaboration with principals and the rest of the student wellness team. As a special education teacher, you apply various methods to support educators in their work toward increased goal achievement. You will be able to work with analyses of difficulties and challenges at the organizational, group, and individual levels; contact with guardians occurs. You will mentor special education teachers and special educators, as well as lead teachers in their work with assessments, evaluations, and intervention programs, and together with the student wellness team, you work to support educators in their adaptation efforts. You will collaborate both internally and externally. You will work together with supportive, experienced, and competent colleagues in interdisciplinary teams. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a special education teacher and/or special educator. You have a secure pedagogical compass and are familiar with school regulations. You can work both independently and as part of a team. We see that you are driven and creative and can plan and conduct guidance sessions, networks, and workshops. You have the ability to see the whole picture in systematic quality work with school leadership and management, and can identify needs for improvements in the operation that positively affect students' health, development, and goal achievement. Requirements for employment: • B driver's license • Qualified special education teacher/Special educator • Ability to work independently • Good collaboration skills Meritorious for employment: • Knowledge of Prorenata and Vklass Great weight is placed on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate and work in teams, as well as the courage to work in an operation undergoing change.
