JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to work closely with students, guardians, teachers, and other colleagues to make a real difference in finding pathways to learning? Are you a specialist teacher seeking new challenges in a team-based work environment? Our interdisciplinary team is seeking you with positive energy who—like us—is drawn to a salutogenic and professional approach and enjoys working with a broad range of tasks around our students in need of special support. The work takes place in close collaboration with the student's principal and teacher, special educator, and other student support staff at the school. Common work tasks, from a leadership and implementation perspective, include: instruction, mentoring, and collaboration/cooperation with guardians and other important people/stakeholders around the student. Other tasks may also include assisting—in collaboration with the teacher and school's special educator—with assessment and parts of the investigation regarding special support. Beyond the classroom and school facilities, the work takes place according to needs and flexibility also in our hub Doterödsvillan, the student's home, or outdoors. To maintain and develop specialized expertise in designing inclusive special support, staying updated on research in the field is part of the assignment. Having active co-leadership as part of the team and as a professional in the school's systematic quality improvement work is self-evident.
