We are now seeking a qualified special education teacher for grades 4-9 with Swedish teaching certification. This is a permanent position at 50-75% with a start date of Fall 2026. You have a Swedish special education teacher degree and Swedish teaching certification for grades 4-9, with qualifications in mathematics being a merit. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement curriculum goals in your work. You have clear leadership and stand firm in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and collaborative educator who challenges and stimulates students toward development. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is self-evident to you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are experienced with documentation and writing intervention programs. You have knowledge of NPF and clarifying pedagogy. You are experienced working with positive behavior support and low-arousal approaches. You should be positive and collaborative and ready to join an international team. In your role, you teach in Swedish and/or English, but among colleagues, we primarily speak English but also Swedish. This means you need to be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
