The students at Hyddan have diagnoses of intellectual disabilities (moderate/very severe) in combination with autism (level 3 or 2), which means that students have extensive need for support in all daily activities. A large portion of the students also have language disorders and frequently occurring problematic behaviors. This can include externalizing behaviors, hyperactivity, and self-injurious behaviors. We believe that everyone has a personal pedagogical design. Many of our students live within Nytida, which means we have close collaboration with Nytida's children's and youth residences where everyone focuses on the individual.
