About the Position We are looking for someone who wants to be part of Glänningeskolan's student support journey by creating structures and routines and developing the school's Special Education Group to promote learning for our students in the best possible way. You will support the work of identifying barriers and opportunities in the school environment and students' need for special support to create conditions for development and learning at an early stage. You will support teaching assistants and resource staff in creating good conditions in teaching situations and opportunities for students to develop according to their abilities and needs. You will conduct your own instruction with student groups and individual students based on existing needs. Your work will be both preventive and remedial at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You work closely with students, educators, and guardians. You will be part of the school's student support team alongside the principal and other student support professionals. With three special education teachers at the school, you and two special educators will form a special education team. Interviews will take place continuously during the application period. Are You the Right Person? We are looking for a certified teacher with training as a special education teacher specializing in intellectual disabilities. Experience with SUND activities is a merit. We consider it self-evident that you have a salutogenic and relational approach and meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. You have strong commitment and are good at building positive relationships. You have a good ability to see all students and take their individual abilities and needs into account. In your communication, you are attentive and clear. You are secure in yourself and collaborate well with the principal, staff, and other stakeholders. You want to make a difference and contribute to student learning throughout the school day. Personal suitability will be highly valued. If you are newly graduated, you will receive 10% reduced teaching time for reflection and mentor meetings.
