Special Education Teacher at Centralskolan

Description:

Are you a special education teacher who wants to be part of building something new – for real? Then we warmly welcome you to Centralskolan in Tierp and our exciting development journey! Starting in the fall term of 2025, Centralskolan became a dedicated grades 7–9 school with approximately 240 students, growing by about 90 students in the fall. This means a clear focus on upper secondary education, subject depth, and relationship-building work in a school environment shaped with students' and teachers' best interests at the center. The school is centrally located in Tierp, with train and bus stations just around the corner – perfect for a smooth daily routine. Centralskolan is part of a larger school area together with Tallbacksskolan in Månkarbo and Kyrkskolan in Kyrkbyn, both grades F–6 schools. This gives us strong opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and continuity in students' educational journey. Here you will meet engaged, competent, and unpretentious colleagues who believe in collaboration, development, and solution-focused approaches. You will work in close collaboration with a well-established student support team consisting of special education coordinator, special education teachers, school counselors, school nurse, psychologist, social pedagogues, and study and career advisors – invaluable support for your educational mission. We believe in trust, professional responsibility, and that good teaching is created together.
