As the largest employer with over 2,200 employees in 100 different professional roles, we offer a meaningful working life where development, community, and social impact come together. With Vision 2040—"Together Toward the Future"—we are shaping an innovative and sustainable everyday life, together. With us, you make a real difference every day, in a culture characterized by courage, commitment, and opportunities to grow—both professionally and as a person. Are you ready to shape the future of Ulricehamn, together with us? The Learning Sector works toward inclusive and cohesive learning for all—from the youngest to adults. Together, we create a culture where participation, safety, and high expectations are at the center. Through collaboration, language, and presence, we lay the foundation for goal achievement and lifelong learning. The Adapted School in Ulricehamn Municipality, which is part of the Tingsholm school area, offers students with intellectual disabilities an education carefully adapted to each student's individual circumstances from primary school through upper secondary and adult levels. The activities are built on the same structure as primary school while also encompassing specialized subject areas that promote students' motor skills, communication, daily living activities, aesthetic development, and understanding of reality. Here, every student has the opportunity to develop in a safe learning environment where participation, learning, and confidence in the future are at the center. We are seeking an engaged, driven, and knowledgeable colleague who, together with us, wants to continue developing tomorrow's adapted school. You will be an important part of creating a safe, developmental, and inclusive everyday life for our students. We welcome your application! 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES Your task is to plan, lead, and develop instruction for students based on the adapted school's subjects and subject areas, with a focus on each student's individual abilities, needs, and goals. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that students receive the pedagogical and social support they need to develop and achieve their goals. Your duties also sometimes include tasks that may otherwise fall to student assistants, to support students in daily and social situations where needed. You also contribute to the overall pedagogical development work and collaborate closely with lead teachers, principals, and other educators to strengthen the quality of instruction and create a cohesive, safe, and stimulating learning environment. You have good collaboration skills and are skilled at building trusting relationships with both students and colleagues. To thrive in this role, you need to be calm and stable, even in situations that may be demanding or challenging. You meet students and those around you with composure, clarity, and empathy, and you have a solution-focused approach that contributes to a positive work environment.
