Job Responsibilities You will work in a team, closely with school management, educators, and other school staff to create the best conditions for each student's learning and development. You will be an important member of the school's student support team and participate in the school's preventive and promotional work. As a special education teacher, in collaboration with educators, students, and guardians, you will conduct pedagogical assessments that are compiled into a pedagogical evaluation. You are also responsible for sharing the pedagogical evaluation with guardians, mentors, and the work team. Your role also includes writing intervention plans. You will work operatively—that is, directly with students in learning situations—and support students in need of special support at both individual and group levels, as well as in regular instruction. As a special education teacher, you are expected to contribute to individualized approaches for students in need of support, both in smaller groups and in the classroom, in collaboration with teachers. In collaboration with the mentor, student, and guardian, you will be responsible for developing, following up, and evaluating intervention plans. Qualifications The role requires: - Teaching certification - Special education teacher degree in mathematics development or language, writing, and reading development - Good pedagogical insight - Solid familiarity with current curricula and regulations - Good digital skills Personal Qualities You should have strong pedagogical ability and be able to meet students in their individual development based on their characteristics, prior knowledge, and abilities, to create good conditions for student development. As an educator, you are a secure and clear leader with student learning and goal achievement in focus. The role of special education teacher requires good analytical skills to assess student needs, design support for individual students as well as groups, and evaluate the support provided. Good collaboration skills are required, as the work involves collaborating with educators, school management, guardians, and external partners. You should be able to work independently, be resourceful, and be engaged in school development matters.
