JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We have developed in line with the new Social Services Act, where the focus is on early and preventive measures. The activity is accessible without a needs assessment, which makes support easier to access. An important part of our work is close and regular collaboration with the Cognitive Team, where we together ensure the right interventions, quality, and development for each individual. Ekbacken's day activity center is a well-established and structured operation with clear working methods. Level 1 For participants in the early stages with good cognitive and physical ability. They can participate actively, take initiative, and make their own choices. Focus is on preserving function, promoting participation, and strengthening independence. Level 2 For participants in moderate stages with greater cognitive or physical limitations. They need clear instructions, guidance, and often support throughout the entire activity. Our Working Method: The FINGER Model We work evidence-based using the FINGER model and offer activities that strengthen brain health through: • Cognitive training • Physical activity • Social community Everything we do is based on a person-centered and rehabilitative approach with the goal of strengthening functions, improving quality of life, and enabling continued living in ordinary housing. The Assignment As a Specialist Nurse in Dementia / Silvia Sister / Elderly Pedagogue, you will become a key person in the operation. You will: • Drive development and quality in daily work • Plan and lead high-quality activities • Collaborate closely with the Cognitive Team in planning, follow-up, and development • Contribute to a professional and engaged team • Create meaningful and rich days Day/evening shifts on weekdays and weekends may occur. QUALIFICATIONS Competence and Approach • You have good knowledge of cognitive disease and person-centered care • You understand the role of activities as a preventive measure • You can plan activities according to principles similar to the FINGER model • You can adapt activities to different levels and conditions of the day • You have a professional and low-affect approach • You work in a structured manner but can be flexible in the moment • You see the individual's resources and work in a strength-supporting manner Mandatory Requirements for the Position • You are a Specialist Nurse in Dementia, Silvia Sister, or Elderly Pedagogue • You have documented experience planning and implementing activities for people with cognitive disease • You have strong ability to document according to the Social Services Act and work in digital systems (LifeCare) • You have very good Swedish in speech and writing • You have a category B driver's license Merits for the position include experience from day activity centers.
