The operation includes an extensive specialist clinic, an emergency department, three inpatient wards, and an innovation unit, The Future Care Ward. DUTIES We are seeking a specialist physician in emergency medicine for our emergency department. We offer a limited-term assignment with good opportunities for a permanent position for the right candidate. Currently, there are five employed specialist physicians in Emergency Medicine. The emergency department is a significant part of our outpatient operations and accounts for the largest influx of our inpatient patients. As a specialist physician in Emergency Medicine, you hold the role of operational physician at the emergency department. We work without hierarchies, with an influx of both internal medicine, surgery, and orthopedic patients. Daily work includes managing flow, mentoring junior colleagues, serving as team leader during emergencies, supporting triage nurses, and coordinating with ambulances. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you hold a Swedish medical license with specialist competence in emergency medicine. Swedish language proficiency of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is required. Experience in emergency medicine within both medical and surgical patient flows is merits. We see that you have a genuine interest in acute care and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration. Furthermore, you are committed and solution-oriented, and actively contribute to a good working climate. Additionally, you have good communication skills and work with a clear patient focus.
