Do you want to contribute to a safe and functioning railway by developing and managing work procedures and regulations within signal technology? We are looking for someone who wants to work with technical safety management in a national specialist role where you can combine analysis, collaboration, and development work on matters that are crucial for the railway's safe operation and maintenance. Work Tasks Our section is responsible for work methods, implementation and commissioning, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting of the signal system. The position involves contributing to change management and development of work procedures, regulations, and routines for these work tasks. Additionally, it includes setting requirements for competencies for signal technical safety personnel who perform these work tasks, as well as assessing competency applications. Your main work tasks include: - Management of signal technical regulations, including environmental monitoring, leading further training, and monitoring regulatory compliance - Evaluating competency applications from individuals and companies - Participating in investigations of deviations/incidents/accidents within the signal technology field The position involves frequent contact with external parties and includes some domestic travel. We are looking for someone who has: - Higher education with a technical focus, at least 180 credits, or other education and experience that we consider equivalent - At least one year of current and relevant work experience with risk assessment and methodology support - Experience working with investigations or development of safety-critical systems - Ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English It is also desirable if you have: - Experience with MTO analysis (human, technology, and organization) or Human Factors Engineering of safety-critical technical systems - Experience with safety planning and safety management according to the requirements of EN 50126, 50128, and 50129 and TDOK 2014:0488 (Technical Safety Management Signal, work with signal systems) - Experience with change and development work related to safety processes and/or processes for technically approved materials - Established professional contacts within technical safety management, signal technology for railways We look forward to your application!
